A Rental case study in Bingham Street, Islington
Borough of IslingtonCase study background and context
After spending the last decade in Hong Kong, a British couple found themselves in the process of relocating. Their employer, a renowned bank, had provided them with a relocation company that lacked dedication and flexibility. They were given just one day to view properties, none of which met their needs. Frustrated by this, they turned to us, seeking a more dedicated and flexible solution from an independent relocation agency like us.
Their primary requirements were a three-bedroom property to accommodate their three grown children when they visited, and it had to be pet-friendly to accommodate their beloved dog.

The challenge
While most people appreciate pets, landlords often have a preference for tenants without them. Unfortunately, having a pet can significantly limit your choices, reducing available options by as much as 70 to 80%.
Results and outcomes
After a few weeks of searching for the ideal place, we sourced a lovely home in Canonbury, Islington. To ease the landlord's concerns, we had prepared a pet reference letter from our previous landlord in Hong Kong.
The key to success
The key to success in this endeavour was a deep understanding of the rental market and having connections with the top agencies and agents. Crafting a reference letter for your pet is the essential step in securing the perfect property successfully.
